I83 Pa visitors welcome centers amish lone star quilt on display-- made by model joanie bosserman of joans jellys (available at the smitties soft pretzels stand rt 74, dover Pa,) A few years ago I stopped at the Pa visitors welcome center on interstate highway 83 on the pennsylvania/maryland border and meeting Bill, I noticed a woven blanket on display among other things, and I started to talk to Bill about my quilting and asked him if he'd like to display one of my quilts, he agreed quickly. I have lent my amish lone star quilt to Bill at the welcome center, it only seemed fitting we needed a quilt .I stopped by and dropped off another of my quilts for bill to display for this fall. I think it would be awesome if at each state welcome center would display quilts from their state, for visitors to see!
